Gala Marie Brown Munnings

Gala attained a Masters in Social Work degree and has been working the majority of her career in academia. She lived and worked in Nassau, Bahamas at the College of the Bahamas for 15 years; moved back to Miami and has worked as an administrator at Barry University School of Social Work for the past 11 years. Gala has two daughters (both of whom attended Spelman) - the older is a physician and the younger is a financial analyst.

Other information - There is (or was) a bronze bust on display in the Fisk Chapel of her grandfather, Rev. Dr. William J. Faulkner, who was Dean of the Chapel for 17 years. He was awarded an honorary doctorate during the celebration of our 5 year class reunion in 1977.

Charles Wesley "Ceedy" Morgan, III

"Ceedy" was employed by the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. until 1975, then returned to Oklahoma City where he was a Field Underwriter in the insurance industry until 1978. He spent ten years (1978-1988) as a full-time professional poker player and part-time confidential consultant. In 1989, he established Diamond Printing & Publishing, Inc. where he remains as President and majority shareholder. While his company effectively runs itself, most of his waking hours are devoted to volunteer work for Kappa Alpha Psi.

Other information - Both of his parents were Fisk graduates - Charles Wesley Morgan, II and Augusta Pearl McFarland Morgan. His father was a charter member of the Alpha Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi at Fisk in 1927.
