Fisk currently enrolls about 800 students. It has capacity for 1,000 students. Therefore, the University's goal is to enroll an additional 300 students per year. Often, colleges and universities need a multiple of three times the enrollment target in its applicant (and acceptance) pool in order to reach the desired enrollment.
The Class of 1972 pledged to recruit and mentor at least 100 students into Fisk University within the next five years -- by our 30th Anniversary Reunion. Each '72 Fiskite is to attend at least one career day, or some similar event for high school students, in each year for the next five years (5 visits to a high school) to promote Fisk and to share our Fisk experiences (and career stories) with the students. This is something each Fiskite should be able to easily do.
